1. 小朋友 8 歲以上才可以登艦. 8 歲以下小朋友可以到基地內慶祝七月四日的國慶日的場地玩玩… Don’t expect many activities there! 2. 基地是早上十一點起開放讓民眾進入. 進入基地的同時也會發放參觀的登艦卷. 最後一梯次是下午五點. 3. 儘量輕裝. 至少會有二到三次的機場出入境格式的 X-光掃瞄和檢查隨身物品. 4. 今年七月四日的天氣預報是炎熱的, 站在鐵製的林肯航艦上的飛行甲板, 就像是在熱鍋上的螞蟻. 開放式的軍機儲藏區像蒸籠(USS-Shoup 艦內有冷氣除外). 要隨身多攜帶些水和遮陽物品. 5. Everett Transit 自早上 10:00 開始, 將會有免費的 Shuttle Bus 往返 Everett Station 和 Navel Station Everett. 收班公車將於晚上的煙火結束後 30 分鐘. 6. Everett Station 可以搭週末班表 Sound Transit #510 (Seattle <-> Everett), #532 (Bellevue <-> Everett) 到達. 如果不想看軍艦, Tacoma Freedom Fair 於 1:30pm 和 3:30pm 間有 Air Show. 可以搭 Sound Transit #594 至 Tacoma Dome, 轉搭 Fair Bus ($3) 到 Downtown Tacoma Waterfront. 大西雅圖地區不少地方都將會有煙火施放, 比如 All-American Fourth of July (Everett), Ivar’s 4th of Jul-Ivar’s (Elliott Bay), Symetra Bellevue Family 4th, Tacoma Freedom Fair, WaMu Family 4th at Lake Union 等等.
